Planting, growing and creating habitats
There is no greater sense of joy than that generated by a child’s direct connection with the earth and seeing things grow. Also observing fauna in their natural habitats stimulates curiosity and wonder in our young learners.
SOuL’s bespoke designs for ponds, beds and habitats provide powerful and experiential science, botany and ecology learning in your own school environment. They can be designed and installed in almost all areas and terrain.
As well as the the benefits of curriculum based teaching and learning, such facilities also allow learners of all ages to demonstrate both teamwork and responsibility in their peer groups.
By working together to keep the areas both clean, tidy and healthy, they are able to link hard work with results, and make direct connections with global sustainability and environmental themes and issues.
These areas can also benefit from rustic furniture and seating areas to help with formal teaching sessions.
