The Simple Log Rounds Pack

It doesn’t get much simpler than the log round to create a seating circle for outdoor learning, Forest School etc.

We strongly urge you to use any offcuts and log rounds that you can acquire for free or use material directly from your own site. For example, when trees fall down or are felled. Tree surgeons will often take this material away with them, suggesting that they are ‘doing you a favour’! however try and keep it and repurpose it where you can. 

However, when you require a durable, long lasting solution for log round seating it doesn’t get much better than oak. A trimmed oak log round will last at least 10 years even when in permanent contact with the ground, unlike softwood equivalents which might only last a couple of years before they rot and break down.
