A child’s vestibular sense and proprioception are essential to strong physical development. Children and young people need to opportunity to swing, spin and generate movement in 3 dimensions. Our nest swings provide this for both individual and group play. We use Robinia (hardwood poles) that are extremely long lasting and durable and do not require any chemical treatment. We can lay grass mats as a safety surface through which grass could grow over time and they would not be seen. Alternatively, woodchip, shingle and sand can also work well with retaining borders.
